Please Please Me

At 10:00 am on Monday, February 11, 1963, the Beatles and George Martin started recording what was basically their live act. In three sessions that added up to 9 hours and 45 minutes, they produced an authentic representation their live set that could have been heard at the  Cavern Club. It was released on March 22, 1963.
